John Evershed is Mondo Media’s CEO and executive producer of Mondo Mini Shows, a growing library of animated shorts targeted at teens and young adults. John has spent the majority of his career overseeing the company’s strategic and creative direction, along with his partner and co-founder, Deirdre O’Malley.

Since the company’s inception in 1988, John’s focus has been on the intersection and distribution of animated entertainment, ranging from videogames to online to television and most recently to mobile and other wireless devices.

Mondo Media produces Happy Tree Friends, one of the first truly multimedia hit properties to originate on the Internet. Happy Tree Friends has exploded into a worldwide new media franchise that includes a television series, home video line, mobile applications, iTunes podcasts, and a full line of merchandise.

Mr. Evershed has a BA in English from the University of Toronto.
